School of Nursing Osun State University Admission 2023

Applications are solicited from adequately qualified applicants for admission into the following Nursing Programs of the School of Nursing, Osogbo, Osun, for the academic year 2022/2023.

Application is available for the study of:

Basic General Nursing

This is a Three-Year program that will start in October 2023

Requirements:

WAEC, SSCE/GCE, or NECO with five (5) credits in not more than two sittings are required. English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology must all be included in the subject mix.

On admission, a person must be sixteen (16) years old.

Post-Basic General Nursing

This is an eighteen-month program that begins in the following section.

Requirements

The applicant must meet the following requirements:

Have completed WAEC, SSCE, GCE, or NECO with a minimum of (5) credits in no more than two sittings. English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology must all be included in the subject mix.

Be a registered midwife or psychiatric nurse with a valid license from the Nigerian Nursing and Midwifery Council.
After completing the one-year Mandatory Community Service, you must have at least one year of post-registration employment experience (Midwives only).
